Callidus Corporate Social Responsibility

Callidus helps define and implement parent company's Pon's Corporate Social Responsibility program.

The world around us is changing rapidly, therefore the United Nations adopted the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2015. These goals are developed in order to give a broader perspective on how we can create a better world for all of us by ending poverty, fighting inequality and injustice, and tackling climate change by 2030.

Recognising the part that we can play, our parent company Pon has launched their own Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program that will come into effect in 2022 and will focus on eight of the SDGs that are considered to align with Pon’s business and values.

These SDGs show that our impact is not only focused on environmental aspects (e.g. CO2 reductions), but also social (e.g. diversity & inclusion) and our broader responsibility within the supply chain (e.g. human rights). The CSR program will be planned out between now and February next year, with key Opco’s chosen in each Pon business group tasked with defining and implementing the plan.

Role Callidus

We are delighted to announce that Callidus has been chosen to be one of two Opco’s in the Industrial Mobility group to drive the strategy creation. We have been chosen in recognition of our status as a key Opco within our group and our ability to be able to influence the broader CSR goals of Pon.

And we are also delighted to announce that Materials & Corrosion Engineer Evelyn Ng, supported by COO Ed Pepper, will be representing Callidus on the CSR working group. Evelyn has extensive experience in CSR in our industry from her work with former employer FQM, and as such is the ideal person to ensure the best outcomes both for Callidus and the wider Industrial Mobility group.
